Remove a pupil that has been added back to the data

If your school asked to change a pupil from year 11 to year 10 during the 2025 KS4 June checking exercise, we have added that pupil back this year.

This means the pupil will be included in your 2025 to 2026 performance measures, even if they are no longer on your roll.

In some cases, you can ask to remove an added-back pupil. See the guidance on add-back removals for more information.

If you asked to remove a pupil for any other reason in the 2025 June checking exercise and this was approved, that pupil will not be added back this year.

If you ask to record a pupil aged 15 or over as year 10 in this checking exercise, they will be counted in your performance measures next year.
